I was completely skeptical of this $5.00 set of chargers. But I've been very pleased!
I plug the charger into an extension cord next to my bed (the cord is pretty short), and charge my iPod Touch 2G every night. When I wake up, it's charged and ready to go.
I haven't tried the car charger yet, because I'm always charged from last night, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn't work.
In terms of the other negative reviews:
-Yes, the cord is short. I plug it into an extension cord and have no problems
-Yes, there is a little red light on the plug itself, but since it's on the floor for me and not a distraction
-No, I've never had a problem with the connection being loose.
I highly recommend it!

These were working fine, but there must have been an iphone update that blocks this phone from charging with 3rd party products. Now when I hook my phone up to these chargers or a portable belkin charger I had, the phone says that it does not recognize the accessory.
